Why do you need a wedding?

Of course, because you love each other and want to make the day of your family unforgettable and beautiful! This is the most common answer, but it is immediately wrong.
This is not the answer to the question "why" :)

Why is a very important question, and the answer to it greatly depends on how we plan this day.
And here everything is not obvious at all. Sometimes it even happens that the answers of the bride and groom differ. Sometimes they are very different.

Let's figure out why there is a wedding in Georgia:
1. In order to gather family and friends in our turbulent times in one place and let everyone communicate and get to know each other. Georgia is a very convenient place to meet when everyone lives in different countries. Almost everyone does not need visas, relatively inexpensive tickets both from Europe and from other countries. Relatively low cost of living.
2. So that today there are mountains, and tomorrow - the sea. Georgia has 3 climatic zones and there are incredibly beautiful locations at any time of the year. The tall Caucasus Mountains, the beautiful Black Sea, valleys with vineyards in Kakheti, ancient magical Tbilisi.
3. Perfect photos and videos in unusual locations.
4. Hang out and have fun with friends 100%.
5. Combine the first four options.
6. Come up with your own answer. Sometimes the bride and groom have different values, and here we need to find a compromise.

We once had a couple in which the groom wanted to race drones and throw axes at a target with his friends at the wedding, and the bride wanted a dress code for the bridesmaids and that no one get drunk.

So, based on the answer to the question “why?” and you need to plan the wedding day from the very beginning - think through the concept, choose a suitable location, the ideal host, decor, photos/videos (yes, they are also different for different tasks!), the image of the bride and groom, entertainment for guests, the correct timing of the day, and so on.

So first - who needs it, and then - how exactly we celebrate.
